Previous post, I do introduce my new turtles, both are female and no name yet. Today they've grown so much and almost 10months.. they will be 1 year old by 26 June 2009. Here I present my Kiki and Riri~~!

Currently, Riri is resting at basking area, Kiki just about to join Riri basking.

Beautiful animals! It looks like they are what is called pastel color morphs - ie a little rarer than the normal red eared slider. They may have more sensitive eyes than the normal individuals (more sensitive to light). But maybe you already knew that. :-) Good luck taking care of them!! :-)
Hi Leisha! Owh I didn't know that my turtle is one of the pastel color morphs species. I do notice that their skin are brighter than my previous turtle and Yes! they are extremely sensitive to the light! owh thank you so much for the info! Really appreciate it! =D
My red ear slider is just like urs its colour is really bright but is is very scared of me wat should i do?

Theres nothing you can do unless you keep watching them and make them know you. They are not scared actually but more to shy.. hihi.. don't worry. One day your turtles will get used to your presence.
Tips: Hand feed your turtles will makes them know and not shy to you.
